Out back is a Dana 61 axle (given to Faloni by a friend) that has had the spindles enlarged to accept 1.5-inch-diameter chromoly axleshafts. Other mods to the axle include a Detroit Locker and Great Lakes Offroad diff cover. Braking consists of TSM disc brake brackets, Chevy calipers, and 3/4-ton Chevy truck-application rotors. A custom driveshaft with a 1330 CV and 1350 U-joint spins the axle’s internals. The rear suspension is comprised of a three-link setup with track bar, Rubicon Express Jeep TJ-application 4.5-inch-lift coil springs, Rancho shocks, center-mounted Synergy Suspension limiting strap, and Timbren bumpstops. The links are made from 2x2-inch, 0.250-inch-wall square tubing with Ballistic Fabrication 3-inch Forged Ultra Duty joints with 1.250-inch shanks on the upper link, 2.5-inch Currie Johnny Joints with 1.250-inch shanks on the lower links at the frame, and polyurethane bushings on the lower links at the axle.
