Where the factory Dana 44 front axle used to sit is a much beefier Dana 60. It has a modified Dana Power Lok differential (added clutches), 4.56 gears, and a Fab Fours diff cover. Hairapetian kept the front suspension the simple leaf spring/shock setup, but he swapped in a set of Skyjacker shock absorbers, GM Truck Center bolt-in spring hangers, Offroad Design greasable shackles, and custom leaf springs that are 3.5 inches longer than stock. The result is about 6 inches of front suspension lift. The steering was also upgraded with a World Famous 4x4 high-steer system that includes a custom pitman arm, 1.5-inch-thick high-steer arms, and a factory Dana 60 tie rod and drag link.
