Cobra Gold Knife
The Cobra Gold, new from Columbia River Knife and Tool, features one-handed opening/closing and a multi-purpose cutting edge. The blade, made from high-carbon chromium stainless steel, is double taper-ground for cutting efficiency. GPS Beacon Receiver
Lowrance introduces the new DGPS Beacon Receiver, which promises greater accuracy in navigation. Differential GPS, or DGPS, interacts with a land-based reference GPS receiver, located at an accurately surveyed site. When it communicates with to the Lowrance DGPS Beacon Receiver, it gives more accurate information to the GPS unit so it can use this data to correct its own information, and guide the user back to the desired location. The Lowrance DGPS Beacon Receiver utilizes a frequency range of 285 to 325 kHz, and operates at a data rate of 25 to 200 bits per second. It outputs RTCM 104 version 2.1 data at a 4,800 baud rate.
