Power comes from a Chevy 454ci engine that Gordy assembled. It’s sparked with an MSD Street Fire HEI ignition and topped with a Weiand Street Warrior intake and 750-cfm Edelbrock four-barrel carb. With an aftermarket cam and Hooker headers, the engine makes an estimated 375 horsepower and about 520 lb-ft of torque. An aftermarket aluminum radiator helps cool the big motor. Gordy’s attention to detail is evident with the careful routing and neat treatment of hoses and wiring under the hood and throughout the truck.
