Next comes a divorced NP205 transfer case taken from a ’73 Dodge 4WD that was rebuilt by AZ Differential Specialists and then hung from a custom-built crossmember. Equal-length 1410 CV driveshafts from High Angle Driveline connect the T-case to the axles and are interchangeable from front to rear. To better support the heavier rear driveshaft, Gordy machined the rear tailhousing components on the NP205 to accept a wider double-roller bearing. He also added a High Angle disc parking brake to the rear output.
