Gordy runs a PSC-built Saginaw steering box. The old push-pull–style steering box was tossed and was replaced with a 2WD-style box to allow use of crossover steering. The box is tapped to also divert fluid to a hydro-assist ram on the front axle. Fluids for the transmission and steering are kept cool using a pair of Derale Performance coolers tucked behind the front grille.
