If you're a hard-working guy, then there's a good chance you carry some type of pocket knife. Every staff member has his own allegiances, but we can all agree on the quality of Benchmade's higher-end knives. We've had a couple of their Blue Series knives, used almost every day for more than a decade, and they've still got another 10 or 20 years in them. Sure, the blades need sharpening every once in a while, but Benchmade has consistently presented us with knives that last (yes, we're sure we could break them if we really wanted to, but we've had no issues under normal-to-severe use so far).
A few years back, we swapped some Atlas leaf springs onto our '97 solid-axle Tahoe. We are used to a bunch of thin, multi-leaf packs, but these Atlas units used thicker leaves and less of them. We had our doubts. But after spending a couple years with them, we can tell you that they flex very well, ride excellently for our setup, and have not fatigued or broken yet. After having a positive experience with their heavy-duty leaves, we decided to also add them to our '11 Super Duty recently, in conjunction with a set of airbags.
Bumpers are pivotal aesthetic pieces, much like wheels. You get the wrong bumper, and it can screw up the whole look of your rig. That's why we're so picky with our bumper choices and why we love the C-Rok rear XJ Cherokee bumper on our project XJ. Not only does it hug the body lines and provide a smooth, clean look on an XJ, it also provides extra strength and rigidity in the back end of a Cherokee.
