Powerplant Engine

Tim went through three engines before he ended up with his current powerplant. Built by Robert Kenney, it’s an International Harvester SV-345 V-8 that’s far from stock. An Edelbrock 1406 carburetor sits atop an IH Only aluminum intake manifold. Once ingested, the fuel/air mixture then flows into a block bored .040 inches oversize and topped with shaved and ported heads. Valves are actuated using a Camcraft camshaft. This mill gets its spark from a DUI (Davis Unified Ignition) distributor, and exhales through Stan’s Tri-Y headers. A high-torque starter brings it all to life.
