If you're like us here at OFF-ROAD, you probably do a fair bit of your own work on vehicles and have started to accumulate the tools you need for that type of work. Basic tools are great in the beginning, but when you're trying to reach those hex heads nestled high up under the dash or snake your hands deep into the engine bay, a greater variety of tools can speed up the job, help you avoid deep frustration, and save some skin on your knuckles.

But, a good variety of standard and deep well sockets, extensions with universal and flex joints, and various wrenches all have their place in tight spaces and for work comfort. The right tools can turn a dreadful maintenance job into a far more tolerable task. Here are a few tools I've added in my garage to do just that.
