A set of 12-inch-stroke Bilstein 9100 smooth body shocks bolts to a Southwest Performance upper shock mount that allows the rear of the Bronco to keep up with the front end on fast sections of the Baja 500 racecourse, while a set of 2-inch Bilstein hydraulic bumpstops helps absorb the hard poundings of large racecourse whoops. A Southwest Performance 2-link kit keeps axle wrap to a minimum while also allowing the Deaver springs to withstand the harsh desert life.
