After growing tired of chasing his younger brother’s Bronco in Baja—and having a hard time keeping up with it in his mildly built FJ Cruiser—Vic Rojo Jr. realized he needed to build a Bronco. Eventually, he had himself a decently built burgundy Bronco with a Camburg cut- and turned-beam mid-travel kit and Deaver J40 springs that most folks would be proud to call their own. Sadly, he ended up totaling it after a nasty accident with a big rig. Not one’s to give up so easily, the Rojo brothers banded together with a mission to build this clean 1996 Ford Bronco in just a month’s time for some prerunning down in Baja.
