Southwest Performance also built a custom cut- and turned-beam front suspension on Vic’s Bronco as well as the custom set of bolt-in coilover mounts that replaces the factory shock towers and is also tied together with a shock tower brace. Since Tony’s Bronco worked so well, Vic decided to go the same route and use 12-inch-stroke Bilstein 9100 coilovers with ACV valves to smooth out the bumps in the dirt while a set of 2-inch stroke Bilstein hydraulic bumpstops keeps the Bronco moving like a desert Caddy through rough whooped-out roads.
