Chassis: Sandblasted and reinforced frame
Engine: 355ci V-8 Chevy, Hooker block-hugging headers, mandrel-bent dual exhaust with twin catalytic converters
Drivetrain: Lakewood blowout scattershield, Ford Top Loader four-speed manual, custom transmission crossmember
Suspension: Rough Country 4-inch lift, custom-built TeraFlex-style front shackles and greaseable rear shackles
Steering: Custom high-steer steering system
Brakes: All new brakes components restored to original condition, all new braided stainless steel hoses
Tires/wheels: 38-inch Ground Hawg Tires on 15x12 American Racing AR136 Ventura aluminum wheels
Interior: New front bucket seats, built new rear jump seat with storage area, modified two YJ hardtops and grafted them together to make the longer CJ-8 removable hardtop with custom cut flat glass to fill larger rear window holes, Rhino lined top inside and out, custom stereo with six-speaker audio system, Hi-Lift jack brackets behind rear jump seat
Other parts: 3-inch body lift, custom-built front and rear bumpers by College Heights Secondary School manufacturing students, Warn 9,000-pound winch in the front, swingaway tire carrier with reciever, new fuel tank and sending unit with 1/2-inch aluminum fuel lines, new radiator, Painless wiring harness, custom slave cylinder, YJ half doors, newer YJ mirrors, College Heights Secondary School Auto Body Shop students repaired entire body, primed and block-sanded the body five times and then laid down a silver basecoat followed by four coats of Burnt Copper PPG paint and three coats of clear
Trophies: Took the CJ-8 to Toronto for the Mega Speed Car show and took Reserved Grand Champion honors
