Up front is a Scout-sourced Dana 44 axle with factory IH automatic hubs, Dana/Spicer Powr-Lok differential, 4.10 gears, and 11-inch disc brakes. The suspension is the typical Scout leaf-spring setup, but it has undergone some modifications. It has Rancho RS9000 shocks and the Skyjacker 4-inch-lift springs are mounted in a spring-over-axle configuration that was designed and built by Ismail. The steering system utilizes a stock Scout pitman arm, IH Only Blastproof drag link, and IH Only Blastproof tie rod. The drag link measures 1 3⁄8 inches in diameter, and the tie rod measures 1 1⁄2 inches in diameter.
