Scott kept this Comanche sitting at almost stock ride height with 2-inch-taller dual-rate MetalCloak coil springs that do not fall out of the coil buckets at full droop. Because of this, stock-length MetalCloak adjustable control arms are almost parallel at ride height and are still able to cycle 12 inches of wheel travel. This would not be possible with conventional shocks mounted in the stock location. But, Scott is running MetalCloak’s Six Pack shocks that have shock shafts both on the top and bottom of the shock bodies, giving a floating shock body. Extended Crown brake lines were required for the extra travel.
