Long canoe-style lower trailing arms are part of a long-travel four-link system. The rear axle began as a production Speedway Engineering 9-inch housing but was trussed and tabbed by Jesse for this application. A Detroit Locker forces the axleshafts into unison under acceleration and lets them turn independently when coasting: a good compromise between ideal off-road traction and street friendliness.
