The stock front axle is long gone, replaced by a Currie RockJock 60: an axle with world-beater credentials. The optional aluminum centersection is a good choice for lightweight rigs like the YJ; bigger vehicles running high-cube engines and monster tires are best served with an iron centersection. A Howe Performance steering box and matching ram assist keep steering effort light in the rocks.
