A dual-rear-wheel setup may not be ideal for navigating tight city streets or back alleys, but it is unmatched in towing ability out on the open road. While we’d love to have a dually in our lineup, our headquarters in Southern California would probably dictate the purchase of a single-rear-wheel version of this truck if taking it home permanently. Doing steep climbs and descents through much of our road trip, we averaged just under 10 mpg hauling a fullsize 4x4 on an 18-foot-long Carson trailer.
