With four-wheel drive ready at the turn of a knob, the Ram 3500 is not required to stay on pavement. An 11.5-inch rear AAM axle almost guarantees no rearend problems, and a four-linked (and Panhard rod) 9.25-inch AAM front axle can provide pulling power at the ready to bring the dual-rear-wheel Ram through areas with minimal traction.
