The Morrison Jeep Trail starts towards the end of Clark's Fork Canyon and ends up on the Goose Lake Trail, on the other side of the Beartooths. Morrison Jeep Trail necessitates a fairly built rig, and definitely one with good safety equipment. Not that it would make a difference if you rolled off the switchbacks on the Clark's Fork Canyon side. The switchbacks climb well over 1,000 feet above the riverbed, with corners so sharp that it sometimes takes a three-point turn to get around them. This is Bill Springer's Vortec-powered 4Runner on the first switchback, still at least a couple hundred feet above the riverbed. White knuckle four-wheelin'.
