These engines are blown, intercooled, and turbocharged. The turbo is at the end with the wastegate showing; no mufflers on these birds. Air is forced from the turbo to an air-to-air intercooler, and then through the pressure-injected carburetor into the engine-driven supercharger. Early models were hydraulically controlled, while the later ones like this are electronically modulated.
