Jeep XJs are unibody so there is no frame to act as a backbone. Rather, the entire body sheetmetal is used as a strengthening system. This is fine until years of wheeling abuse twist and tweak the body. Since Greg has access to top-of-the-line metal at his shop, he upgraded the unibody with tubes inside and underneath to act as strong mounting points for suspension and a more beefy monocoque cage system.
