At the hindquarters, the factory Dana 44 was gusseted to match the strength of the front. Deaver leaf packs are much smoother than the factory leaves and provide enough lift to clear the 35-inch BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain KM2s. King smooth-body shocks feature adjustable compression damping via dials on the reservoir bodies. The King compression adjusters are found up front, as well. Why not just go for the superior performance of bypass shocks? It’s because bypass valves make a clicking noise as they open and close. While the noise may not be a problem on a racing vehicle, it’s a bigger issue on a daily driver.
