Many guys convert the pre-’80 Chevys to a post-’80 front clip, and it was nice to see that Keith kept the round lights up front. Hannemann has fiberglass that fits with the original front end, so Keith used both fiberglass fenders and a hood. The fiberglass fenders not only create a larger opening for the tires, but also give more protection from tire-flung debris with a 3-inch bulge. You might notice that there is no door handle sticking out. Keith’s parents helped shave the door handles and graft on the ’73-75 full-convertible windshield frame (’76-91 K5s had half-tops with a fixed roof over the driver and front passenger).
