Retired Ford executive Bill Quarterman’s ’66 U150 Station Wagon is one of the earliest V-8 Broncos remaining, and one of the most pristine and original. It rolled off the line in March 1966 with the V-8 option, Custom Equipment Package, locking hubs, 4,700-pound GVW and AM radio, among a few other goodies. It was showing only 26,000 miles when it was shot a few years back. It’s not restored, but has been repainted, ironically by a retired Ford worker who painted Broncos back in the day. It still carries the original ’66 vintage 8.15-15 spare tire. Bill acquired the Bronco in 1999.
