The all-steel Gipsy, nicknamed “The Gippo,” was a stylish beast, but unlike the aluminum-bodied Rover, it was prone to rust. The Flexitor suspension made for a good ride, even going fast over very rough terrain, but the folks most used to beam axles tended to trash diffs by ramming them into rocks.
