The short Gipsy was rated to carry about a 1,000-pound payload, give or take, and was a bit roomier than the Rover. The British government bought and stored several hundred Gipsys in the ’60s for civil defense. In the ’90s these rigs were sold with only a 100 or so miles on the clock and brought high prices. This gleaming gem is thought be one of those.
