Slung under the front of the Scout is a Dana 44 sitting on 4-inch lift springs with dual Rancho 5000 shocks on each end. It’s filled with chromoly shafts and CTM joints turned by an ARB air locker spinning 4.56 gears. Hidden behind the green skidplate is a Howe hydro assist ram to make turning the big rubber easier on the trail. This isn’t a pampered rig. You can tell by the scars and missing paint, it gets a regular rubbing in the rocks.
