Up front is a Dana 60 axle that was sourced from a ’01 Dodge truck. It sports Yukon 5.38 gears and welded spider gears. A 4x4 Posi-Lok cable system was installed to replace the factory Dodge vacuum-powered axle disconnect. The axle is located via a 1.5-inch-diameter, 0.120-inch-wall track bar fitted with Ballistic Fabrication spherical rod ends and a four-link system with 1.750-inch-diameter, 0.188-inch-wall upper links and 2-inch-diameter, 0.380-inch-wall lower links. All of the links are fitted with Ballistic Fabrication joints. Suspending the rig is a pair of 16-inch-travel Fox 2.5 air shocks. Gleason has an easy time pointing the big Michelins thanks to a PSC hydraulic steering system with a double-ended ram.
