Are you surprised to see the factory 4.0L I-6 under the hood of Gleason’s rig? Don’t be. It makes ample power for the trail. It draws oxygen through a homemade intake with K&N air filter and Outerwears pre-filter. The engine expels exhaust gas through a 2.5-inch-diameter exhaust with Flowmaster muffler. Power is routed through the stock four-speed automatic transmission that has its temperature controlled by a dual-pass cooler with fan (visible on the right side of the photo, mounted to the firewall).
