This got us thinking about why we don’t see more farmers using Jeeps on their farms today. Of course, the fortysome thousand dollar price tag on a similarly equipped JK isn’t helping, but there are less expensive models (in 2013 a base model two-door JK is $27,965). So we took a step back and recognized that most farmers just buy a tractor, but also the side-by-side market has really started filling in where Jeeps used to be. So next we compared a new John Deere Gator RSX 850i against a Willys Jeep CJ-2A.
