It’s not just a suspension thing either. In a head-to-head drag race the Jeep driver was left in the dust while the Gator pilot (clad in government-required safety helmet) made far better use of his 60 horses. This was due to the lighter weight of the Gator. But when we took them both off-road on a trail where speed wasn’t as much a factor, the Willys went everywhere the Gator went with ease, and vice versa.
