Jeep pickups to mid-1950 used a 10-slot flat-stamped grille similar to the wartime MB. Another notable feature of the earliest Jeep trucks was the bedside step, which was eliminated in the ’50 model year. The front bumper was available painted as standard, which it likely was when this truck served in the Army, but Ron upgraded to optional chrome with the bumper guards during the restoration.
