A ’94 Dodge 2500-sourced Dana 60 front axle replaces the Toyota axle. The 60 has 3.73 gearing, an ARB Air Locker, EMS Offroad 35-spline axleshafts, and stock disc brakes. The entire factory vacuum axle-disconnect system was removed from the axle to simplify and ruggedize four-wheel-drive operation. JD Fab created a custom cantilever steering system and it includes a Chevy C10 steering box, Lee Manufacturing hydraulic-assist steering and a tie rod made from 1.250-inch-diameter, 0.250-inch-wall material. A total of eight spherical rod ends are used in the steering system.
