Hammond’s ’57 was mostly original when purchased in ’02. He repainted the original Gulfstream Blue and little body work was needed. Base price for the ’57 Travelall 4x4 was $2,648, but this one went out the door with a lot of options. We don’t have the options prices for 1957, but the original Line Set Ticket is still with the truck and shows what accessories were ordered. They include the “big” 264ci six, T-15 four-speed, PTO-capable trans, 11-inch clutch, extra capacity cooling, heater/defroster, electric wipers, armrests and sun visors, AM radio, cigar lighter, chrome hubcaps, left door lock, Goodyear six-ply mud tires and chrome hubcaps. Hammond found some vintage amber fog lights and an aftermarket sunvisor to dress the truck up a little.
