The Bronco is propelled by a fuel-injected Ford 351ci Windsor V-8 that produces an estimated 400hp at 4,000 rpm. Engine features include a first-gen Ford Lightning tubular intake manifold, 24-pound injectors pirated from a 460ci Ford V-8, Pro-M Racing calibrated mass airflow sensor, K&N air filter, and Wild Horses Four Wheel Drive headers. Electrical needs are met by a ’89 Ford Mustang wiring harness, Ford Taurus alternator, and an Optima RedTop battery. The engine is cooled by a four-core radiator and mechanical fan. Also located underhood is an ARB air compressor and St. Clair says it has been fitted with a high-pressure 135 psi switch.
