When we saw the hood, rear wheel opening, and stance of Scott Hoyle’s Jeep Wrangler the first thing we thought of was rock racer Shannon Campbell’s Jeeps of the past. That was exactly the look Scott was going for, and he even sourced the fiberglass hood and 7075 aluminum links from Campbell Enterprises.
Yes, we said Wrangler. Scott started with a YJ since they use stronger frames and galvanized bodies and are often more affordable than CJs. His first modification was a classic CJ grille and the Campbell hood that integrates the fenders into the hood and provides gobs of tire clearance.
