A person probably wouldn’t do cross-country trips here, but a farmer might have driven into town. Crosley claimed a 60 mph top speed, but owners say a Farm-O-Road at that speed will make your life flash before your eyes. The instruments are the same as used in Crosley cars of the era. The most forward lever is the parking brake. If you pull it straight back, it engages both rear brakes, and you can flip the small black lever down to lock it. If only one tire is spinning, you simply pull the lever to that side to apply the brake on that side. The differential then is forced to shuttle torque to the other tire. The lever behind that is the three-speed shifter. The small lever between the seats is high and low range. A PTO lever is on the floor beside the driver seat and if the unit had hydraulics, there would be a hydraulic control next to the range box lever.
