Dynatrac Has The Beef: Meatier Axles For Your Jeep, That IsPosted in Features on November 11, 2015
Just like picking our absolutely favorite Jeep from the 2015 SEMA Show, choosing a single new product as our favorite for Jeeps among the hundreds of goodies on display was just no fun. I mean, we had to pass by upgrades and accessories that were really great (many of which you’ll see in our upcoming Best New Jeep Products of 2015 SEMA article). However, as the Highlander would say, “There can be only one.”
So here goes. Dynatrac introduced its JK44 Axleshaft Upgrade Kits for front and rear axles in ‘07 and newer Jeep JK Wranglers. This is an affordable way to upgrade your JK’s factory Dana 44 axles, or the current Dynatrac ProRock 44 front axles for that matter. The front axle kit offers high-strength 4340 chromoly 30-spline Dynatrac JK44 axleshafts, and comes with 1350 U-joints. The rear kit increases the shaft diameter to from 32- to 35-spline.
Both kits feature rolled-spline axleshafts with Dynatrac’s deep heat-treat for optimum yield strength (resistance to twisting), and they are U.S.-made. Each kit includes new wheel studs, billet steel retainers, seals, and all of the hardware needed for installation.
If you want to seriously beef up your JK’s 44s without swapping in an entirely new axle assembly (and creating a crater in your wallet), then the new Dynatrac JK44 Axleshaft Upgrade Kits are for you.
