Stone Cold: A 600hp, long-travel, all-business F-150 From SEMA 2015, With Video!Posted in Features on November 9, 2015
Let’s get right to the point. This 2015 Ford F-150 holding down the carpet in the Addictive Desert Designs (ADD) booth at the 2015 SEMA Show is stone-cold awesomeness.
The truck has a no-nonsense, quasi-military, down-to-earth appearance thanks in part to its ADD Baja XT Wide Body Fender Kit, bumpers, and side steps, along with the Sniper Grey color. Even the Royalty Core grille has been color-keyed.
But looks ain’t everything, now are they? What about function? Well, that’s where this truck gets very interesting. It’s powered by a 3.5L EcoBoost V-6 that includes a full-race twin-turbo upgrade kit with huge intercooler, cold-air intake, TiAL Sport blowoff valve, catted downpipe, and after-cat exhaust. The engine is said to produce approximately 600 hp.
Not done yet! There’s a Currie rear axle with Detroit TrueTrac, ADD front Stage 3 suspension with 12 inches of wheel travel and an ADD rear Stage 2 suspension kit with 14 inches of wheel travel, among many other mods.
Drool over the photos and then watch the video for even more info!
The stance of this F-150 at Addictive Desert Designs is nothing short of lusty.
The front suspension has 12 inches of wheel travel, while the rear has 14 inches.
