Unveiled At SEMA 2015: Kia Forte Koup Mud Bogger ConceptPosted in Features on November 5, 2015
When an auto manufacturer gives a nod to mud, it has our full attention.
The SEMA Show in Las Vegas is known for surprising, fun, didn’t-see-that-one-coming rigs and Kia shocked almost everyone by trotting out a modified Forte Koup called the Mud Bogger. This front-wheel-drive concept car is fitted with a four-inch lift, 28-inch tires, a rear fender-exit exhaust (to eliminate the low-hanging tailpipe), and Sparco seats and safety harnesses, among other things. The carpet has been pitched to the curb and the entire floorpan has been slathered in bedliner for easy cleanup.
Yeah, we wish the car had four-wheel drive, but nonetheless, this little machine looks like it could be a lot of fun. We’re hoping that Kia’s foray into a mud-specific concept vehicle will continue and spur other manufacturers to do likewise.

The fender-exit exhaust, four-inch lift and mud tires give the Mud Bogger concept a very unique appearance. As a matter of fact, it even stood out at the 2015 SEMA Show in the sea of modified vehicles.
