Fortunately, this isn’t my XJ. The forest service pulled it off the trail with a dozer and left it at the trailhead as a reminder...and a warning.
Layin’ Down on the Job
I was out in Butler, Pennsylvania, for the big show and met Pete Trasborg. He took some pictures of our ’53 Navy Willys Jeep. Some say this might be the “best” side of Pete. He does get to the bottom when shootin’ pics.
Here’s my ’59 FC-160. I call it that because it’s an FC-150 chassis with an FC-170 cab. I am told this model of Jeep is a perfect fit for me—big, fat, slow, and ugly—what do you suppose they mean?
