Peeking out of the back of some of these photos is Mike’s plane, a ’90s Kit Fox Model 4. It’s a tail dragger with folding wings that’s powered by an 80hp Rotax engine. Mike says it’ll go 130 mph, but it cruises at about 112 mph. Currently the starter is being rebuilt. Yep, you have to pull the engine to get to the starter. The previous owner of the plane flew it to Alaska and back. How about a vintage Jeep road trip from Arizona to Alaska? Also visible are an unrestored ’67 Bronco with 55,000 original miles owned by one of his friends and a ’77 F-250 High-Boy that he plans on rebuilding one day.
