Jeff found the heavy-duty axletubes he was looking for in Dana 44 axles sourced from a ’70s Jeep Wagoneer. On the front 44 he cut the “C” off the long side to make the axle stock width. Custom Moser axleshafts were used inside. You get a peek at the leaf spring suspension with airbag-assist. Also used forward were disc brakes using GM calipers and Ford hubs, Doetsch shocks, AGR Saginaw steering box, and a Rock Ram assist-steering stabilizer completing the front suspension.
