Ricky B's 2013 Throttle Queen Girl of the Year

I can't give away exactly what it is that makes me choose the winner for my Throttle Queen competition each year—that would make it too easy for next year's competitors! An absolute necessity is that the chicks be bold, confident, and outgoing. There are lot of other things I won't get into here that I also like, but in the end the final deciding factor every year for the Throttle Queen pick has always been the same, and it's probably not what you think. I will say that one of the main reasons Niki was chosen was her the dedication and seriousness she gives to her modeling career—gotta respect someone who works so hard to further herself in life. Good things don't come to those who wait—they come to those who go make them happen. —Ricky B Wilson

Where you're from: I am currently living in a small town about 25 minutes from Winston Salem, North Carolina.

Occupation: I'm in school to get my doctorate degree in physical therapy. For part-time fun and completion I barrel race and model.

What got you into modeling: When I was a little girl my mom started me in pageants, and my interest for modeling grew from there.

Interesting facts about yourself: I can fit into any occasion, from wearing dresses and heels to looking and acting the part of a full professional in a room full of doctors or lawyers. At the end of the day when it comes time for hunting, fishing, and mudding, I put on my camouflage and jeans and get down and dirty!

What are a few of you achievements so far: A few of my achievements so far include being in country music videos for one of my favorite singers, Brantley Gilbert, and also one of my favorite duos, The LACS. I'm also a motorsports promotional model for Kevin Powell Motorsports.

Anything else you'd like to add: I am a true unique country girl who grew up on everything from the tractor with my grandparents to driving trucks, raising cattle, and making hay. I have several dreams, such as rescuing animals and having my own therapeutic riding center for people with disabilities, but I am taking one step at a time with God by my side!
