LCA Bolts

The one-off kit that we removed had a good thing going for it in the 3/4-inch bolts for the lower control arms instead of the 5/8-inch stockers. The lower control arm bolt holes had been drilled out to accommodate the fatter bolts. Wanting to use the 3/4-inch bolts with the Dixon arms, we first conspired to drill out the urethane bushings for the bigger sleeves and bolts. The 3/4-inch bolts use sleeves with a 1-1/8-inch outside diameter. Have you ever tried to hunt down a 1-1/8-inch drill bit? They're not easy to find, and they're not cheap once they're found. Unfortunately, the drilling went badly, so we called Dixon Bros. and begged for a fresh set of bushings.
