Warn Industries has been synonymous with vehicle recovery for decades. The company is known for manufacturing some of the best-quality winches, recovery equipment, and off-road vehicle accessories. In 2006, Warn released its all-new PowerPlant Dual Force winch system and air source unit. A dependable air source and recovery system are without a doubt two very vital accessories for serious off-road enthusiasts, and Warn has ingeniously packaged the two in one unit.

By combining both air and recovery units together, Warn has freed up interior and engine compartment space. Now, you don't have to carry around or install additional equipment for air. The price of the PowerPlant might be higher than other winch systems, but the added cost is justified by the integrated air compressor.

After installation of the winch, there is really nothing else to do for air other than put the air line together, connect the hose to the top of the air outlet connection, turn the switch to "air," push a button on the remote, and start pumping. The PowerPlant is available in two versions - HP (High Performance) and HD (Heavy Duty). The HP is rated at 9,000 pounds for faster line speed, and the HD is rated at 12,000 pounds for longer motor duty cycles.
