Superwinch X-series & S-series - Trailer Winches Make Life Easy

Car haulers are great trailers to have, and if your vehicle runs, then you won't have a problem. But have you ever tried to push a broken off-road vehicle up onto a trailer? It's a back-breaking chore and something that can be avoided by spending a few hundred bucks on a permanently fixed trailer winch. And who better to go with than the master of trailer winches? We called the folks at Superwinch to find out what size winch they would recommend for our car hauler. We needed to pull everything from a Rhino to an 8,000-pound Super Duty at times, and we wanted one winch that could do it all. Superwinch sells trailer winches from the 1,000-pound X-series winches to 9,000-pound S-series winches. Since we are only pulling up a slight incline onto the trailer (it obviously won't take 8,000 pounds of dead-pull pulling power to yank an 8,000-pound truck up onto the trailer), Superwinch recommended that the 5,000-pound S-series would be more than adequate to get even our biggest toys up onto the trailer.
