Corbeau LG1 Racing Seats - Performance Seats For Every Type Of Driving

Performance aftermarket seats can really improve a driving experience. Though stocks seats are usually fine for normal cruising and have been deemed comfortable enough for most people to deal with, we are not normal people. And we're guessing you're not quite normal either. Being off-roaders and also Southern Californians, we require seats supportive enough for off-road, but comfy enough to live in for hours at a time on the freeways.

And knowing that Corbeau has seat brackets for almost every vehicle we've ever heard of, we knew they'd have something that would please us. After talking to Corbeau's customer support about what exactly we needed out of a seat, they suggested the LG1, a seat they tout as possibly the most comfortable aftermarket seat made. And being that some of our staff are over the 6-foot, 200-pound marks, Corbeau suggested we try out the wide versions (2 inches wider) that will fit up to a 42-inch waist.

Once they showed up (in under a week, by the way), we had the stock seats out of our ride and these new ones installed in about an hour.

Our seats went into our vehicle in a little under half an hour per side once we had all the tools out. We ordered the wide versions of the LG1, but it still fit easily into our midsize truck. You can't really believe how much you'll like aftermarket seats until you've sat in some yourself. The amount of vehicle control gained from the lack of body roll (yours) is amazing. It's hard to realize how much control is lost by your body shifting on a stock seat until you get into performance seating for a comparison. And this LG1 is not only a seat that holds us in place well behind the wheel; it's actually turned out to be one of the most comfortable aftermarket seats we've ever spent some real time in.
