There was plenty of clearance on the bottom of the frame. The circled bracket on the bottom of the framerail is a vestige of the sway-bar system, which must also be eliminated. We got rid of the rest of the sway-bar bracket after this photo was taken. This photo also shows the stock '87 pitman arm. An All-Pro pitman arm will take its place. The All-Pro pitman arm has been modified to use a burly FJ80 tie-rod end.
